WiMAX technology has been approved as an excellent technology for BWA
application. With the OFDMA modulation and TDMA technique, WiMAX devices can
be adapted to different application environment and keep excellent QoS in mobile
application.
WM1 WiMAX USB Dongle is based on GCT leading edge Mobile WiMAX
Wave 2 compliant technologies, to mobile WiMAX connectivity with excellent system
throughput and reliability.
WM1 is a self-installed and Plug & Play design which connects to host PC
throughput USB interface. WM1 will then source the power from USB interface
and also provides the WiMAX broadband access to the host PC through the same
interface. As Fig.1, a laptop PC connects to WM1 through USB interface, then
the PC could enable the broadband connection in mobile environment.
